HaloKey was born out of a simple yet universal frustration: juggling belongings at seamlessly busy moments, like rushing through the Opal gate or paying at a cashier with full hands. 

Inspired by everyday frustrations, HaloKey is a smart payment ring, with a glow-in-the-dark design that replaces your wallet. It’s more than just a wearable; it’s a statement of living lighter – hands-free, safer, and more connected. Whether you’re a surfer, runner, shopper, or someone who simply values convenience and elegance, HaloKey is designed to fit into your lifestyle effortlessly.

Founded by a passionate team of UNSW Sydney students and graduates, Rico Chang (Founder), Zhiyun Yu (Co-Founder), and Michael Salter (Co-Founder). We are driven by a shared belief that technology should blend seamlessly into our lives, elevating both form and function. Our team brings a diverse blend of expertise in business, design, architecture, industrial design, mechanical engineering and 3D modelling.
